Installing Windows Vista on your PC will require a complete wipe of the existing operating system and data from the hard disk, known as a “clean install”. You will need to have a complete copy of any files stored on your PC, and also copies of any personal programs that you will want to install later. If you are unsure how to do this, please consult before agreeing to upgrade to Windows Vista. Also, some older versions of programs and older hardware might not be fully functional or compatible with Vista. You will be shown the results of the Windows Vista tests so you can have this information available to help you with your decision. |
